100 years ago nobody had a mental game coach they didn't exist. Very few professional players even had a swing coach most were self-taught or asked their colleagues for tips or suggestions. You only have to look at the variety of swings in years gone by to see a lot of people were self-taught.
With a mental game, the whole notion of a mental game coach has become a recent development. In today's podcast, Robin looks at the history of the mental game and its coaches. He also comes up with a few surprises - that you may not have been aware of regards players who you imagine never had a coach but did.
