Gary's Mum is surprised to see her son arrive home early from school.  She gets angry when she learns that Gary is suspended for fighting with Gregory in the schoolyard. A family meeting is held later when Gary's Da returns home from work.  He is very disapointed with Gary's actions until he learns of the reason for the fight. He worries about the consequences and what Miss Gangly will do. The next day he accompanies Gary to school to find out the length of the suspension.
