So caught up in ourselves, we fail to listen to anything others say. We only accept what fits our hearts. What is the heart that can listen to others, and help them escape from addiction and despair.

Symbiosis of Body and Heart

In the story of the “Giving Tree,” the tree falls in love with a little boy and gives everything of hers to make him happy. Likewise, God has given moms the heart to sacrifice and give everything for their children, family, and home. A Pastor I know had one said that, “Giving is better than receiving.” As givers, there are some times we wear out.
