In this installment of Best Of The Gist, with Presidential polling and prognosticating in the air, we listen back to Mike's 2018 with Jordan Ellenberg, a professor of mathematics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison about his book How Not to Be Wrong: The Power of Mathematical Thinking. We also listen back to Mike's Spiel, in which he recounts the RFK bear fiasco … in song. The Woman Who Catches Serial Killers

For thirty minutes each day, Pesca challenges himself and his audience, in a responsibly provocative style, and gets beyond the rigidity and dogma. The Gist is surprising, reasonable, and willing to critique the left, the right, either party, or any idea.
