In this installment of Best Of The Gist, we travel back to January 2019 to remember the clash between the rowdy teens of Covington Catholic and the stoic drumming of Native American activist Nathan Phillips. We also travel to this past Tuesday to reminisce about the days of peak shrimp. Memorial Day- I Might Be Wrong

For thirty minutes each day, Pesca challenges himself and his audience, in a responsibly provocative style, and gets beyond the rigidity and dogma. The Gist is surprising, reasonable, and willing to critique the left, the right, either party, or any idea.
