Dr. Mitchell Abrams is a Canadian Radiologist, past Department Chief of Diagnostic Imaging and an Associate Professor at Michael G Degroote School of Medical Sciences. After experiencing a remarkable journey through western healthcare, as a physician, division chief and open-heart surgical patient, Abrams began travelling to India studying the intersection of science and spirituality and holistic models of health encompassing Mind, Body and Spirit. Blending the best of western modern medical science and ancient eastern spiritual wisdom, Abrams educates audiences as a guest speaker and founded a social enterprise, NexGenHealth, with a mission of creating healthy minds and connected communities.
