I’m so delighted that you’ve joined us again on this Episode of the Daily Podcast.
Today's Scripture Reading comes from The Book of Psalms Chapter 23 and verses 1-2 which says:
The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; he leads me beside the still waters:
Today we are going to take a journey into the pastures.
We are going to take a close look at the Shepherd and the sheep.
There is something very significant about the Shepherd that Jesus would describe himself as one;
and also about the sheep; that he would refer to Christians by that name.
As part of the mix, I would like to introduce an enemy of the sheep………’The fly.’
Where ever there is infestation, flies gather; and if the conditions are ideal, they multiply.
This particular fly is an insect that lays its eggs in the nostrils of the sheep; and when the eggs hatch, the larvae work their way up the nostrils and eventually into the head of the sheep.
