For then you will be prepared to give a respectful answer to anyone who asks about your faith. (The Passion Translation)It’s quite clear that the Apostle Paul is speaking about Prayer and Evangelism. This is what we are called to do; but we must equip ourselves for the task ahead.In 2 Timothy 2:15,the Apostle Paul urged Timothy to study the scriptures. He said:Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.As important as it is to evangelize, if it is not done in the power of the Holy Spirit, your efforts may be fruitless.
