It's clear to any reader of the Bible that the Pharisees, Sadducees and scribes absolutely hated Jesus. They had him tortured and killed after pre-meditating His arrest and crucifixion. While it's common knowledge that they absolutely hated Christ, what many don't often take the time to think through is why. Why did the Religious Leaders of His day hate Jesus? This episode of The GateKeepers Podcast takes a look not only at Julie's article, but at how the John MacArthur followers have responded... and let me tell you, it's not becoming of Christians.

While Christians should understand that politics is not the end-all-be-all for us, as our citizenship is in Heaven first and foremost, the aftermath of the 2020 Election is an indication that America is crumbling before our eyes. This episode of The GateKeepers Podcast is an encouragement that no matter what happens on this earth, we must remember that God is sovereignly in control and our mission as Christians does not change.

During Jesus' earthly ministry, He spent much of His time exposing the Religious Elite of His day... very similarly to how President Donald Trump is exposing the Deep State of his day. In Matthew 21, we see Jesus confront the hypocrisy of the religious leaders who were literally profiting off of the Jewish people coming to offer sacrifices to their God. The parallels between then and now are uncanny.

There's a lot of talk within Conservative circles about the Deep State and the Swamp that needs to be drained in Washington DC. In all reality, we should take a hard look at our churches and the Evangelical System and clean up our own system. It's easy to look at politicians as being a part of a corrupt system and that THEY need to change things, but maybe we need to clean ourselves up, first.

Jeff Dornik launches this new show on The GK Podcast Network by not holding back in his criticism of the Evangelical Church. Obviously, we are seeing our nation crumble before our eyes through the moral decay of our society. Riots, looting and anarchy in the streets, abortion on-demand and our Constitutional Rights being taken away from us. We can blame the secular world for this "persecution", yet Jeff makes it clear that the responsibility falls squarely on the shoulders of the Christian Church and its supposed leaders.
