The word “God” turns some people off these days, but it is time we all grow up and get our definitions in order so we can move on.

God isn’t some guy on a throne in the sky judging everything we do. God isn’t on this side or that side. God isn’t a “thing” at all. God is in fact “no-thing” because God is that which cannot be categorized, that which transcends categories, that which gives rise to categories.

God is the wellspring of life, the ground of being, the united whole of all things, the eternal energy out of which all things emerge. Omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent. Supreme.
