From simple prayers to multi-step mystic processes,  there is no shortage of weird tips, tricks and superstitions people subscribe to in order to get and stay pregnant. When you’re going on your 10th round of IVF like I was, you get a little desperate for something to make you magically pregnant, even if that involves taking crazy advice from strangers.

On what would be my final round of IVF, I found myself open to do anything that may potentially get me pregnant. But when I got the advice to do this crazy thing, I was skeptical thinking there was no way this could actually do anything to help my fertility journey. For days, I tried to find a loop-hole around the entire situation.
