We invite a young married couple who grew up outside of black culture on to the podcast and get their perspective of the film Queen & Slim. A film that as the director Melina Matsoukas says "Gives an authentic view of what it means to be black." Queen & Slim is an amazing story thats dipped in black culture and confronts issues about relationships, black love and social justice. The storyline highlights a number of difficult topics that effect the black community. Sean and Emily Edgerton give their candid thoughts about the film and its implications for our society as a whole.
