This episode we get into the upcoming deadline to sign Marcus Maye to an extension or he will be playing under the tag. We are all in agreement that they should indeed resign him, though we differ on the how much...but not by much. We also discuss how important his signing would be to the overall foundation and culture that the team is creating.  Staying with contracts and culture, we discuss two guys we think the Jets should attempt to resign right now before the season starts and they blow up. Foley Fatukasi and JFM should both have great seasons this year and if they hit the market, they will be gone. With Trevor Lawrence signing his deal, we talked about the hold up on Zach Wikson and AVT not signing their's, with Matt giving a quick breakdown on what offset language is. Staying with Zach, we did a little projecting and we each gave a prediction on what his statline would be this season. We were all different, but if he hits any of our numbers, we will all be happy. We took some time to discuss how PFF has the Jets ranked as the 3rd most improved team this year behind the Pats and Browns while also simultaneously having us with the 28th worth roster...Finally, we talk a little bit about the Jets and Packers practicing together for their preseason game and how this can positively affect the players and the coaching staff.
