They shouldn’t be allowed to host a Star Trek podcast. One host is a conservative Christian that doesn’t think Star Trek should portray homosexuality. If you want to feel offended over basic human rights issues then this is your pod. The hosts when questioned will tell you to be more tolerant of their intolerance. Classic straw man argument. Check out the Rejoined episode to see what I mean. Terrible pod.

Extremely bigoted, hateful, demeaning, and threatening speech from these hosts… absolutely horrible content. Not sure how they thought they could get away with doing a Star Trek podcast of all things - ST is all about inclusivity and acceptance; these hosts seem to hate, belittle, and despise anyone who isn’t a traditionalist Christian. They openly mock and ridicule anyone with different beliefs and they refuse to acknowledge their hateful behavior when confronted with it. This show is the antithesis of what Trek stands for and it should be canceled immediately.

One of the hosts takes offense to a same-sex on screen kiss in the episode “Rejoined”, stating that is should not be on television. I’m guessing he would have been comfortable in the 1960’s when stations in the southern parts of the US refused to air an episode of TOS with the 1st interracial kiss, or when the UK refused to air an episode of TNG critical of terrorist actions that were an allegory to the troubles in Northern Ireland. To the host, your Christian belief is just that, yours. How would you feel if I suggested that any religious materials not be allowed to air? If you do not like an inclusive future, may I suggest “The Handmaids Tale”?
