Take this time and hear the words of which I speak. If they were trying to combat the housing crisis, then WHY were the rents jacked up? Why is it when there are talks about more protections for tenants when it comes to predatory landlords/property owners using their real estate privilege, that's right, I said it, to attack the one thing that's still keeping tenants housed...the eviction moratorium. The nature of this is bordering on a swath of tenants being mistreated and labeled slanderously. The new governor has to do a universal moratorium until at least March.
