Tonight we talk about the true events that inspired the 2005 film The Exorcism of Emily Rose in another Fact in Fiction episode. This is the story of a young german girl named Anneliese Michel who's life tragically ended after enduring 67 exorcisms.

We also watched the 2005 film directed by Scott Derrickson, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, staring Laura Linney, Tom Wilkinson, Campbell Scott and Jennifer Carpenter. The film tells the story of a priest that is put on trial after the death of a young girl while performing an exorcism.
