Welcome back to Season 5 of The Ecologist! This season we are joined by two new hosts - Raghu and Sebastian, alongside Bo. For our first episode we are joined by Valeria Mendez, a conservation biologist and visiting fellow at the Graduate Institute. We discuss the Global Biodiversity Framework, and Valeria’s insights from her research on the role of Indigenous peoples and other interdisciplinary aspects in biodiversity conservation. She also shares with us her experience and opportunities of being a young researcher.
