The Fed, Venture Capitalists, and even the President are telling us this  is not a bail out - but a bail out is exactly what is is! Everyday  Americans are unable to bank with SVB. For over forty years, Silicon  Valley Bank $SIVB have given preferential treatment to tech startups and  local wineries in the form of unsecured lines of credit, funding for  their startups, and connections to billionaire elites. But when the  bank's bad investments (investing in long term debt with short term  money) led to insolvency, billionaires and VC's took to Twitter and  begged for a bailout, in the name of protecting the mom and pop shop and  everyday Americans.
