Creating her own journey and documenting America through the lens, Carol M. Highsmith has blazed her own path to donate 100,000 photos to United States Library of Congress. 

Born in Leaksville, Highsmith has captured the small towns, major monuments and landscapes that make this country the most unique place to call home.
