Jack invites Lukas and Isabel to meet him in the archives and Moot reveals a rather protective side, at least where unfinished lives and tales are concerned. In the conclusion of Baba Yaga’s story, Elena vanquishes her other brothers and regains her reflection, her past and her destiny, becoming the powerful enchantress Elena the Wise. The witch’s hat trick ends when the Deckameron selects Isabel, who alludes to her story with a little prestidigitation and cryptically refers to rings as “troublesome things.”
