Come on the journey with us as George shares his letter of growth while telling his story of how he found his voice as a journalist to reach a bigger audience to show the world that all boys aren't blue.George M Johnson is a Black Queer Journalist and Activist located in the NYC area. George was educated at Virginia Union University with a degree in Finance, and Bowie State University with a Master's in Human Resource Development. After spending 10 years in Finance and working in Higher Education, George pursued his passion, going into HIV prevention and treatment work while building his resume as a formidable journalist. He has written for more than 30 national publications including Teen Vogue, NBC, Vice, The Root, Essence on topics of race, education, culture, gender and politics. His debut Young Adult memoir, All Boys Aren't Blue is scheduled to debut in January of 2020 through FSG.
