Come on the journey with us as Dennis shares his letter of growth while telling his story of how he had to learn his own power to be a proud gay black educator and how he loves to show other young black boys and girls how to know they are powerful beyond measure.Dennis Knight is a native of North Carolina now living the big city life. He is a proud double graduate of North Carolina Central University where he received both his Bachelors and Masters degree in English. Dennis has dedicated himself to public service as an educator. He finds passion in enabling black and brown students with the tools needed to engage in a critique and comprehension of all genres of literature. Dennis has also presented his research on the impact of African American gay authors throughout the country and was currently published in the 2017 edition of the James Baldwin Review. His faith in God leads and guides his life.
