When Youtube was starting out, the local Youtuber scene seemed thin. Sure the service had 4k video, but things to laugh at were few and far between. Then a user named Mikerapphone picked up his house telephone, jammed a random number in, and thought a crank call video would be a good idea. Many other people thought so too. 

Mike Caleda has since left Youtube, but re-uploads of his beloved videos circulate the site like a persistent case of VD. But the man himself is still around, offering piano jazz, livestreams and your odd old game review -- in the spirit of the same guy you’ve been watching all those years ago.
