19 - Introducing the Birth Society! with multiple guests
Hey all!! Welcome back and thanks for tuning in to the extra special episode. Today I am sharing the details of a new non-profit here in Treaty 6 territory, Birth Society! In today's episode you can expect 3 interviews - starting of the show is one of the Birth Society's board members Jennine Fayad giving you the who, what, when, where, why and how of the organization. Next, im bringing back my very first guest Rebecca Antonio, who also sits on the board, to talk about what piqued her interest in fostering change, and why the way the set-up of the society is intentional. Finally, ending the show is a new guest Marwa Alshara, who comes in to beautifully and vulnerably tell her story of birthing a baby in our city as an immigrant to Canada. Through these 3 interviews I hope the intention and message we are trying to get through is revealed! As always, be sure to subscribe, rate and leave me a review if you enjoyed today's episode
