Prompted by the Wheeler Centre's latest Signal Boost Competition I created this 3-minute audio response to the theme 'space' - exploring spaces that influenced the way I am today.

1) Being a 12-pound baby born in regional NSW nicknames "Baby Elephant" by the nurses.
2) Christmas and Camping
3) St Kilda - Moving Out
4) Bangkok, supporting refugees
5) Himalayas, finding peace.

I'm not sure if I'll be successful in this competition, but the process of creating it has been wonderful - remember it doesn't matter if you don't get the validation you seek - create because you can, because our voices, our art & our stories matter.
