IT WAS TRYING TO FLANK ME What happens when a cryptid researcher becomes the eyewitness? On this episode of The Cryptid Podcast, host Dano sits down with Marcus Ellis from Mississippi, an experienced cryptid investigator and Region 5 Director for the North American Dogman Project (NADP) who also serves as a member of its Special Investigations Unit.Marcus brings years of experience in the field, including a background in Bigfoot research, but some of his most compelling evidence comes from encounters of his own. He shares his Bigfoot encounters, including the unforgettable moment he turned around in a research area and caught a Bigfoot moving across the trail behind him—as if it were attempting to flank him.But Bigfoot is only part of Marcus's story.Marcus also discusses his Dogman encounter, evidence gathered during investigations, what he's learned from years of cryptid research, and his theories about what these unexplained creatures could be. Are researchers dealing with undiscovered flesh-and-blood animals, something more complex—or phenomena we still don't fully understand? This episode goes beyond stories and into the perspective of an investigator who has spent time in the field searching for answers—and has had encounters of his own.🎧 Tune in now and decide for yourself.👇 Have you ever seen something?
