Stephanie and Paul Miller had just celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary and were preparing for life as empty nesters.

Life was good.  They both had good jobs, they had two beautiful children, they loved each other and spent time hiking and being outdoors with each other and as a family.

What could possibly go wrong?

On Friday the 13th of July 2018 the unthinkable happened.  Paul went missing while on a hike in Joshua Tree National Park in California.
