One of four interviews with Canadian comedians that inspired the podcast. When we first went into quarantine, I pitched an article to CBC about how this shift is affecting Canadian comedians. And although the article was commissioned it was never published. Don’t worry, I still got paid! Anyways, I did a bunch of interviews for the article that really shaped and impacted how I approach content creation in the current climate, and I felt like it was important to share them. So for the next few weeks, I’ll be releasing these interviews as part of the show.
Part two: I have a chat with Sandra Battaglini, an incredible Toronto comedian and co-founder of the Canadian Association of Stand-up Comedians. We discuss politics at large, and why we would be paying performance artists. Learn more about CASC at canadianstandup.ca!
