EP#004: Rising from Tragedy to $30MM+ Triumph: The Alex Smith Story

Branden Coluccio has become known for his to turn his life's GREATEST setback into a FORCE that has lifted up those around him and forever positively impacted the lives of many people overcoming their own struggles.

It's his superpower. And now you get the blueprint for MASSIVE success.

From private equity, to entrepreneurship, to a $67 million exit at 29, then $40 million in real estate by 31, Branden's meteoric rise was the stuff of legends, but so was his fall from grace.

An multi-exit entrepreneur, speaker, and two-time author Branden achieved the pinnacle of entrepreneurial success before age 30.

From the outside, he had it all: a beautiful wife, millions of dollars, prestige, cars, you name it.

But in reality, he was bloated, out of shape, self-medicating with alcohol, and a solid foundation in life. His definition of success was all wrong.

Then, as it does, the universe intervened and at the snap of a finger destroyed life as he knew it. The fall from grace was swift and agonizing. He went from private equity boy wonder to outcast.

In July of 2020, he surrendered to federal prison. Having never been in any trouble during his life, he was in for a rude awakening about how difficult life can be on the inside.

Never having been in handcuffs or in jail, Branden was placed in isolation for 22 straight days. This is where his mindset changed forever.

But from the moment his life changed, in the darkest of hours, he vowed that this horrible event would not destroy him. Instead he committed to turning this into one of the greatest moments of his life. A moment that he would use to positively impact the lives of those around him facing their on challenges.

Branden returned home in the best physical and mental shape of his life, quit alcohol, nurtured a wonderful marriage, drafted another book and dedicated himself to helping others learn the formula for turning massive adversity into your superpower.

On the Convictions Podcast you will hear TRUE stories of amazing human beings that have battled their way through the fire - homelessness, alcoholism, decades in prison, divorce, death, you name it.

All of us have a story, but most people only want to tell the good parts. Not here. It's not a question of if life throws us curve balls, but when. You'll hear all of the pain, the challenges, and the tactics use by those who have been forged in the fire along their journey from failure to savage.

Branden lives with deep conviction that the human spirit is a weapon to be used for good, but that this mindset must be sharpened, and adversity is the opportunity to unlock the greatest versions of ourselves. But it can also kill us. Which will you choose?
