Linwood Blanchard was born September 21, 1949. He graduated from Perquimans County Union School and earned degrees in Accounting from North Carolina A&T State University and Data Processing from Guilford Technical Institute. He was the proud father of Renee and Melly and grandfather of Azariah and Tristan. Linwood served faithfully at Bethel AME Church and participated in several community and fraternal organizations. He loved technology, numbers, bowling, and ballroom dancing. Through Be Smooth, Smooth Grooves, and DanceMoods, he danced across several cities. Linwood will be remembered for his compassionate heart, caring spirit, warm laughter, and ability to brighten every room.
