In this episode, host Kirk Westwood welcomes Daniel Hogan, CEO of The Association of Union Constructors and Impartial Secretary to the National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee, who shares his views on the current and future state of TAUC and the construction industry.
As the CEO of TAUC, Hogan is dedicated to helping member union contractors increase their market share in the ultra-competitive construction and maintenance industry. He believes this can only be accomplished by building strong tripartite relationships between these contractors, the building trades crafts and our owner-clients. He is also focused on continually increasing the value of TAUC’s portfolio of products and services for the benefit of our members and the industry as a whole, as well as educating the next generation of workers on the value of a career in the union-building trades. Originally from Western New York, Hogan has been with TAUC and the National Maintenance Agreements Policy Committee, Inc. (NMAPC) since 2009 and most recently served as Senior Director of Industrial Relations. He assumed his current role as CEO of TAUC in March 2021.
