On Saturday July 12, Conor McGregor suffered a dramatic injury while fighting Dustin Poirier for the 3rd time. As he stepped back in his stance, his leg caved out from underneath him.

This unfortunately, is not the first time we have seen an injury of this type in MMA this year. Just a few months ago Chris Weidman suffered the same injury under similar circumstances.

Could these injuries in some way be related? During this episode I break down Conor’s injury and the circumstances surrounding it pre and post fight.

I offer my opinion on return to sport timeline, as well as whether Conor will be able to compete at the elite level again.
