Jill Thomas appeared as a guest on a morning radio show at the tail end of a rodeo career. After the show, the host asked if she had thought about getting into radio after leaving her sport. She was intrigued and took a role as an unpaid intern at the station. Her first full-time job in radio was as a producer for the conservative talk show host, Glenn Beck. Jill would end up hosting morning shows of her own and eventually switched to podcasting where she works alongside the host of the Commonwealth, Nick Castner, at Hurrdat Media.
