Kaitlin chats with a military-officer-turned-pastry-chef in Episode 3 of The Comeback Couch! He tells the story of how his dream bakery came to be and how he uses his military experience every single day to make pastries. Kevin talks about coming back from his daughter’s cancer diagnosis and learning that he has to have “one day at a time” faith to fully rely on God.

Kevin has a degree from the United State Military Academy at West Point, NY as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS. He also has a Master of Divinity degree from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg, VA and is a certified Pastry Chef through Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts in Boulder, CO. Talk about well-rounded!
After retiring from active duty in 2010, he went on to work for the Army Acquisition Corps in Huntsville, AL. And now, he and his family own L’Etoile Patisserie in Huntsville! He says the bakery exists to glorify God by developing and strengthening our community through relationships while providing exceptional service and distinctive, high-quality baked goods. L’Etoile Patisserie is located at 1214 Meridian Street, Huntsville, AL.
