This week on The Coffee Hour, we celebrate Halloween with four classic tales of terror by American short story maestro Edgar Allan Poe. Together, with a team of actors, and a self-composed score, Adam brings to life four stories.

In “Metzengerstein,” Ethan McAtee tells a story of one family decimated by a rival, and the supernatural revenge taken by a mysterious horse. Emerson Prond tells a tale of murder, madness and hallucinatory guilt in “The Tell Tale Heart.” In “A Cask of Amontillado,” Adam Venrick tells a tale of horrible revenge set against the drunken folly of carnival. And finally, Imani Congdon tells a story of an avaricious masquerade beset by illness at the hands of a mysterious guest in “The Masque of the Red Death.”
