Show notes

In episode 9 of the Clever Content Podcast, me and Iain are joined by our Head of Video, Richard Tissington to talk about Airbnb’s foray into the world of filmmaking. !

The company behind the world’s largest online marketplace for home-sharing and tourism experiences has produced a documentary called Gay Chorus Deep South. Currently doing the film festival circuit, Airbnb says the project is in line with its values as a company and a response to the political environment in the US.

In the show, we talk about how this documentary – and the genre in general – could be a great tool for telling stories that fit with a company brand.

In the second part of this episode, we quiz Rich on what happens once a client has said that they want us to produce a video. We talk about the importance of a pre-production process and getting to the bottom of what the client is really looking for. Hopefully, you’ll find a few useful nuggets of advice in there.

What the heck are you waiting for? Go and get yourself a cup of tea, turn those speakers up and listen in now.
