**Election Day Reality with Zack Servis: Media Lies, a Scorched-Earth Caller, Hideaway Accountability, and Why Shutting the Club Down Ain’t the Fix**
Clay’s on a vibe and calling it early: red tsunami, full control, supermajority. Polls are mental warfare, the media’s running the same play they ran in ’16, ’20, and ’24, and history says they lose when they tell Republicans not to bother. Then a black conservative caller (the Doctor) drops one of the best calls the show’s ever had—media bias from the Obama era, Trayvon Martin photo tricks, schools teaching oppression instead of agency, and why the black-on-black crime the media ignores is the real story. Clay and Servis pick it up from there: race narratives don’t have to exist, personal accountability does, and identity politics is just another idol.
Servis (local politico and community activist) keeps it real on courageous conversations, why “my side good, your side bad” is a dead end, and how the culture of the Kingdom beats rainbow cowboy hats and political identity every time. They hit revivals, Fulton Sheen, why the rapture doctrine is newer than people think, and the hard truth that suicide doesn’t automatically punch a ticket to hell—salvation is faith, not works. Heavy, honest, and no sugar-coating.
Then they cleanse the palate with Jackson crime. Mayor Horn and Chief Bragney’s press conference on the second deadly shooting at the Hideaway (same promoter who had issues at Grant’s Downs) gets the full treatment: no real accountability from the city, promoters who treat security like an afterthought, and JPD telling venues to handle parking lots they don’t control. Clay lays out the practical fix instead of just declaring nuisance and shutting the place down—promoter licenses, occupancy-based bonds, required law-enforcement or retired-LE security, insurance, and actual security plans. If you can’t put skin in the game and follow the rules, you don’t get to throw the party. They also dig into the $100 million Model Cities money for JPD: earmark it, show the receipts in real time on the open-data portal, and stop letting general-fund games eat it.
Straight talk on election night energy, media propaganda, faith over politics, and a concrete way to deal with the promoter problem without pretending every venue is the enemy. Guest Zack Servis keeps the heat high and the excuses low.
