Show notes
Jackson was a killing field again this weekend. Double homicide plus a half-dozen wounded at a nightclub on Halloween night, stacked on top of mass shootings in Dallas, Birmingham, and elsewhere. Clay opened the show by running the body count and asking the obvious question nobody else will: can black folks not just have fun without shooting each other? He called out the culture rot, the sacred gas-station memorials, the selective outrage that stays silent when the victims look like the shooters, and the refusal to drag their own killers out of their houses. No “positive solutions,” just the reality that until the internal body count gets the same energy as the outside ones, none of the rest of it is serious.
