**The Clay Edwards Show — Zach Servis & Creston Berch**
Another arrest in the Tasia Fortune case. Jackson police now have 25-year-old Ernest Lloyd Jr. charged with murder and a warrant out for a third suspect. The “roving band of white supremacists” story that some people were banking on is dead. Two Black men are in custody for a hanging death on Road of Remembrance. Clay, Zach, and Creston walk through why the original narrative never added up — the street, the physical questions, the lack of screaming, and the people who actually live around there.
Two Ole Miss students found dead. Packaged kratom at both scenes. Parent-group rumors of a new synthetic called Cyclorfin (or cyclorphan) supposedly stronger than fentanyl and coming up from Louisiana. Clay’s been a long-time kratom user and isn’t ready to pin two deaths on it without tox. He wants it regulated and sold like medical marijuana, not banned and left to gas-station chemists.
Mental health gets real: we used to put the severely ill in asylums. Now we put them on the sidewalk or in jail. Churches that won’t even knock on the house across the street. Personal stories from Zach’s family and Creston’s wife. Clay’s line stays the same — wicked hearts don’t get fixed by another law.
Zach drops a new record, “From Here,” written after one too many “you ain’t from Jackson” comments. He also gives the Positive Jackson minute: Lock Ward, Roger Parks, and the crews still pressure-washing and picking up trash the city won’t; Timothy White’s work on homelessness and youth; and his wife’s $10 screening of *Allowed to Birth* on October 17.
Nolan Wells grand jury: no criminal activity. Ben Crump still talking about a hidden truth. Clay issues an open invitation — come have the conversation about culture, crime, and personal accountability. Slavery and 1619 stay off the table. Last 50 years only.
No station IDs. No sponsor reads. Just the show.
