**Episode 1290 – Clay Edwards Show**  Guest: Zach Service
Zach caught heat for sitting in this chair again. Campaign supporters dropped him. “Why would you give that racist your platform?”
He didn’t dodge it.
If the charge is true, the Christian move isn’t to hide on the other side of the room and hope the problem starves. It’s to sit at the table. Jesus didn’t interview the tax collectors for ministry advice. He showed up, said what was true, and let them deal with it.
Zach’s point: if you think Clay’s audience is the problem, wouldn’t you rather have a different voice in the room than leave the whole thing unchallenged? Marketplace of ideas. Face to face. Not a keyboard drive-by.
Clay’s counter: he tried polite first. Got the scarlet letter anyway. So he stopped whispering the quiet part. Racism is believing you’re a different, superior species because of skin. Most of what gets screamed at him is prejudice, pattern recognition, and a culture that happens to be rotten—ghetto culture, not “Black culture.” One of those is 90% of the population here and does the overwhelming share of the bodies. The other one isn’t.
They agree on this much: locking someone out doesn’t convert them. It radicalizes them. And the people who lecture about tolerance usually won’t take the invite when the mics are hot.
That’s the conversation.
