Final Alignment Of The Nations Pt 2 Israel CSN 0127

34 minutes Posted May 6, 2017 at 10:00 pm.
Now it will come about that In the last days The mountain of the house of the LORD Will be established as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills; And all the nations will stream to it.
“Behold, I, even I am bringing the flood of water upon the earth, to destroy all flesh in which is the breath of life, from under heaven; everything that is on the earth shall perish.
The LORD said, “Behold, they are one people, and they all have the same language. And this is what they began to do, and now nothing which they purpose to do will be impossible for them.
Now the LORD said to Abram, “Go forth from your country, And from your relatives And from your father’s house, To the land which I will show you;
On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your descendants I have given this land, From the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates:
But God said, “No, but Sarah your wife will bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; and I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.
Then his father Isaac said to him, “Please come close and kiss me, my son.”
He said, “Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel; for you have striven with God and with men and have prevailed.”
God spoke to Israel in visions of the night and said, “Jacob, Jacob.” And he said, “Here I am.”
All the persons belonging to Jacob, who came to Egypt, his direct descendants, not including the wives of Jacob’s sons, were sixty-six persons in all,
Now the sons of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand men on foot, aside from children.
And the priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan while all Israel crossed on dry ground, until all the nation had finished crossing the Jordan.
Then the men of Judah came and there anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, “It was the men of Jabesh-gilead who buried Saul.”
Then the king of Assyria invaded the whole land and went up to Samaria and besieged it three years.
In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it.
Now in the ninth year of his reign, on the tenth day of the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, camped against it and built a siege wall all around it.
Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia– in order to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah– the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he sent a proclamation throughout his kingdom, and also put it in writing, saying,
“It is I who says of Cyrus, ‘He is My shepherd! And he will perform all My desire.’ And he declares of Jerusalem, ‘She will be built,’ And of the temple, ‘Your foundation will be laid.'”
“For thus says the LORD, ‘When seventy years have been completed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill My good word to you, to bring you back to this place.
This temple was completed on the third day of the month Adar; it was the sixth year of the reign of King Darius.
So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of the month Elul, in fifty-two days.

Last week I began a new series, related to watching for our Lord’s return. If you are a regular listener to this podcast then, like me, you are awaiting the return of Yeshua HaMeshiach, Jesus the Messiah. When that time approaches, Gog of Magog will invade Israel along with his confederation. This battle is also referred to as the Battle of Armageddon. Just prior to this invasion there will need to be a final alignment of the nations. In other words all the involved nations must exist and be politically aligned as dictated by prophecy and God’s sovereign plan. I’m confident we are not at that point yet and Yeshua’s return is not imminent, expectant yes, but not imminent. Its time we review current events in light of HaAcharit HaYamim, The Last Days, as foretold by scripture.
Isaiah 2:2 Now it will come about that In the last days The mountain of the house of the LORD Will be established as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills; And all the nations will stream to it.
Today we begin our investigation of the nations with Israel. Spanning a few episodes first we will review its ancient history and important events, then its modern history, and then Israel’s position in light of Biblical prophecy in the Acharit HaYamim.
One might say that the emergence of Israel begins with the call of Abraham, at least that is where we will begin. We will be creating an historical timeline which will be summarized at the end of this series. First, to gain perspective note these two global transforming events:
Genesis
The Global Flood occurred in 1656 AM (anno mundi – “in the year of the world”) or 2275 BC. The population of the world today descended from Noah, his three sons, and their wives.
Genesis
7 “Come, let Us go down and there confuse their language, so that they will not understand one another’s speech.”
8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from there over the face of the whole earth; and they stopped building the city.
The Tower of Babel occurred in 2130 BC plus or minus 20 some years or about 145 years after the Global Flood. This is of course when the world was divided into 70 languages (Genesis 10), but more importantly divided the peoples into nation states. The European Union is an attempt to reverse this division.
As I stated earlier The call of Abraham occurred around 1848 BC, and could be considered the beginning of Israel. Without Abraham heeding God’s call Israel would not exist.
Genesis
2 And I will make you a great nation, And I will bless you, And make your name great; And so you shall be a blessing;
3 And I will bless those who bless you, And the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”
Shortly afterwards God enters into a covenant with Abraham describing the land titled to his decedents. Abraham himself never realized this promise in this present age.
Genesis
15:18 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, “To your descendants I have given this land, From the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates:
God’s Land Grant to Abraham
From this map you can see the vast land mass that Israel will possess in the not too distant future. We can’t say for sure how much of Saudi Arabia Israel will possess but if this map is reasonably accurate Israel will increase its land mass by more than 95%. This covenant passes through Isaac and not Ishmael.
Genesis
17:19 But God said, “No, but Sarah your wife will bear you a son, and you shall call his name Isaac; and I will establish My covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.
The covenant continues through Jacob whose name was changed to Israel:
Genesis
27 So he came close and kissed him; and when he smelled the smell of his garments, he blessed him and said, “See, the smell of my son Is like the smell of a field which the LORD has blessed;
28 Now may God give you of the dew of heaven, And of the fatness of the earth, And an abundance of grain and new wine;
29 May peoples serve you, And nations bow down to you; Be master of your brothers, And may your mother’s sons bow down to you. Cursed be those who curse you, And blessed be those who bless you.”
Genesis
32:28 He said, “Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel; for you have striven with God and with men and have prevailed.”
Jacob and all his family move to Egypt around 1633 BC, 215 years after the call of Abraham.
Genesis
3 He said, “I am God, the God of your father; do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for I will make you a great nation there.
4 “I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also surely bring you up again; and Joseph will close your eyes.”
5 Then Jacob arose from Beersheba; and the sons of Israel carried their father Jacob and their little ones and their wives in the wagons which Pharaoh had sent to carry him.
Genesis
27 and the sons of Joseph, who were born to him in Egypt were two; all the persons of the house of Jacob, who came to Egypt, were seventy.
Exodus from Egypt around 1418 BC, 430 years after the call of Abraham. The Israelites dwelt in Egypt for 215 years.

Joshua
3:17 And the priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan while all Israel crossed on dry ground, until all the nation had finished crossing the Jordan.

David becomes king of Israel in 981 BC:
2 Samuel 2:4 Then the men of Judah came and there anointed David king over the house of Judah. And they told David, saying, “It was the men of Jabesh-gilead who buried Saul.”
“House of David” inscription, 830 BCE, found in the excavation of 1993-4 at Tel Dan
Israel (the 10 northern tribes) are exiled to Assyria in 640 BC:
2 Kings
6 In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria captured Samaria and carried Israel away into exile to Assyria, and settled them in Halah and Habor, on the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes.
King Nebuchadnezzar lays siege to Jerusalem and the 1st group of Jews are deported to Babylon in 525 BC:
Daniel 1:1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it.
2 The Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, along with some of the vessels of the house of God; and he brought them to the land of Shinar, to the house of his god, and he brought the vessels into the treasury of his god.
Judah falls and the Temple in Jerusalem is burned and destroyed in 506 BC, 1342 years from the call of Abraham and 475 years from the anointing of King David.
2 Kings
2 So the city was under siege until the eleventh year of King Zedekiah.
3 On the ninth day of the fourth month the famine was so severe in the city that there was no food for the people of the land.
4 Then the city was broken into, and all the men of war fled by night by way of the gate between the two walls beside the king’s garden, though the Chaldeans were all around the city. And they went by way of the Arabah.
5 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued the king and overtook him in the plains of Jericho and all his army was scattered from him.
6 Then they captured the king and brought him to the king of Babylon at Riblah, and he passed sentence on him.
7 They slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes, then put out the eyes of Zedekiah and bound him with bronze fetters and brought him to Babylon.
8 Now on the seventh day of the fifth month, which was the nineteenth year of King Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, a servant of the king of Babylon, came to Jerusalem.
9 He burned the house of the LORD, the king’s house, and all the houses of Jerusalem; even every great house he burned with fire.

Babylon falls. Cyrus, King of Persia issues a decree to rebuild Jerusalem and the Temple in 454 BC, 70 years of captivity ends.
2 Chronicles
23 “Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, ‘The LORD, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and He has appointed me to build Him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever there is among you of all His people, may the LORD his God be with him, and let him go up!'”
Isaiah
44:28 “It is I who says of Cyrus, ‘He is My shepherd! And he will perform all My desire.’ And he declares of Jerusalem, ‘She will be built,’ And of the temple, ‘Your foundation will be laid.'”
Jeremiah
29:10 “For thus says the LORD, ‘When seventy years have been completed for Babylon, I will visit you and fulfill My good word to you, to bring you back to this place.
