John has worked for four decades as a professional freelance photographer and writer, contributing to magazines around the world and producing work for major brands in the adventure sports and travel industries. Many of these clients retained his services for more than 25 years, reflecting the long-standing relationships he built throughout his career.Alongside his freelance work, he spent two decades as Picture Editor and staff photographer for a leading winter sports magazine.While much of his photography has been created in high mountain environments, assignments for cycling companies and other clients have also taken him around the world, providing opportunities to produce personal work for exhibition.Today, John continues to write and photograph for magazines covering motorcycle travel and outdoor adventure.
