Episode 26 Founded In Tragedy
In December of 1970, the Phoenix Police Department lost two officers in one night, Officer Albert Bluhm was shot and Officer Dale Stone killed in a motorcycle accident while responding to the officer down call of Bluhm. After that night, 6 Phoenix Business Men came together to form an organization in support of the families known as The Phoenix 100 Club which grew into The 100 Club of Arizona as we know it today.  Join us on the latest episode of The Call as we speak with one of the founders of the club, Bill Shover as recalls how the club was built in the midst of tragedy.      This podcast is hosted by the CEO and President of the 100 Club of Arizona, Angela Harrolle.
