Meet Ashley Sorenson, a Core & Pelvic Floor Corrective Exercise Specialist as well as Mrs. Washington County 2024 who very much enjoys the recreation that Southern Utah offers her family. When she worked in an OBGYN clinic and as a physical trainer early in her career, she observed a severe gap in the care that mothers receive for their emotional and physical postpartum recovery. Then Ashley had two healthy children of her own, followed by a miscarriage, from which it became even more apparent that women who suffer pregnancy and infant loss are overlooked by standard healthcare practices.
