Since Lucy was away this week, I decided to do more of a documentary format with the show, looking at the history of Andrew Wakefield's involvement in the genesis of the anti-vaccine movement. This is not supposed to be a rebuttal of the anti-vaccine movement, it is not meant to be a defence of vaccines. I do not go into studies that disprove the claims against vaccines, this is merely a look at the controversy that began the push against vaccines, and how it holds up (or doesn't) against scrutiny, both from the scientific community, or even itself.
