ABOUT OUR GUEST:

Amy Small is the EVP, Creative at Media Cause, a mission-driven digital agency that helps nonprofits grow and accelerate their impact. She’s also the Managing Director of the RiseUP Marketing Fellowship, a full-time development program that offers diverse talent an opportunity to gain experience, training, and connections to launch successful careers.

Beyond her official roles, Amy volunteers her time as a mentor and speaker, and frequently judges creative industry awards. She’s also passionate about breaking down stigmas surrounding mental health, and both developed, and leads, Wholebeing—Media Cause’s employee mental health and wellbeing program.

As part of this pursuit, Amy has studied Positive Psychology, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and Mindful Self Compassion; received certifications from the Center for Compassionate Leadership and SIYLI; and is certified in Mental Health First Aid, as well as a Certified Empathy Decathlon Facilitator. Through her experiences, she hopes to help create company cultures that support employees as whole individuals, and provide the support they need to thrive, in and out of the workplace.
