With his execution impending, Paul begins his final letter by reminding Timothy that God has not only given Timothy a gift through his faith in Jesus, but also the means to use that gift to the full. In light of Paul’s encouragement, we consider how the gift of the Spirit of God empowers us to take courage and live unashamedly in today’s cultural climate.
