A nurse by profession, Debbie underwent surgery on September 9th but quickly faced severe medical complications. Within days of her operation, she tested positive for blood clots in her leg and was prescribed a high dose of the blood thinner Eliquis. This medication triggered massive inflammation, swelling, and a large hematoma on her new implant, which temporarily derailed her recovery timeline and forced her to immobilize her leg.
