The founder of Kettlebell Kings grew up in Texas and had a background in sports, including playing football at Rice University on a scholarship. After working various jobs in corporate America, including outdoor sales and oil and gas, he embarked on his entrepreneurship journey.Entrepreneurship is seen as a skill that can be learned through experience and failure. The founder emphasizes the importance of taking risks and learning from mistakes. Just like in sports practice, where one misses more free throws before mastering the skill, it takes multiple attempts (and failures) to get good. Kettlebell Kings was founded in 2012 with the goal of building a health and wellness company centered around kettlebells. At the time, kettlebells were gaining popularity as a fitness equipment, especially within the Crossfit community. However, there was no prominent brand that made kettlebells a lifestyle and created a community around it. Kettlebell Kings aimed to fill this gap by becoming the go-to source for information, user-generated content, and a one-stop shop for kettlebell enthusiasts.Chapters:Links Mentioned:Chad Price OnlineKettlebell KingsJohn Kelley OnlineBeefy MarketingSmall Business OriginsWingman
