Antero Alli is a sorcerer of underground cinema, music, paratheatre, and poetry. His many films include Under A shipwrecked Moon, The Mind is A Liar and a Whore, and 2020's The Vanishing Field. He is the author of nine books as well as the instructor of two online courses, Astrologik and The 8 Circuit Brain.  Alli's most recent book, State of Emergence, explores his decades long investigations as director of ParaTheatrical ReSearch, a ritual technology for gaining access to stored bodily emotions through movement, vocalization, and action . We lovingly bullshit our way through a conversation about "The Resurgence of the Poetic Imagination," Antero's mission statement for his work. His wondrous mountain of creations can be found at his website Vertical Pool, linked below. Music for this episode made by me.
